Accounting Clerk I

Shaw Industries plant 78 in Aiken, SC is searching for an Accounting Clerk to manage General Administration and control financial records.

Responsibilities:

1. Total all expense forms. Use account number assigned to each voucher and split to Plant accordingly.
2. Receive match exceptions as requested
3. Reconcile PCard Transactions each Month
4. Purchase all postage and mail any mail each day
5. Order Supplies as needed for each department
6. Order Rental Cars and Hotel reservations as needed for travel.
7. Order associates meals as requested.
8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
9. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.
10. Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
11. Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

• Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
• HS Diploma, GED Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel or related computer skills
• Preferred: Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
• Preferred: experience in a manufacturing accounting clerical role

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
