Thompson Palm Springs is currently recruitingfor an experienced Chief Engineer tojoin the hotels Engineering team.The Chief Engineer plays a vital role inmaintainingand enhancing the physical infrastructure and systems.This positionassiststhe Director of Engineering in overseeing the engineering and maintenance department, ensuring that the hotel's facilities are inoptimalcondition and that safety and environmental standards are met.Additional duties may include, but are not limited to the following:Assists in directing general construction and the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency and safety.Assigns, verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management municates with city/county/state officials to ensure the proper maintenance of permits and licenses, to coordinate required inspections and to ensure full compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards to protect the well-being of all guests and team members.Assists in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations.Assists in interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates municate effectively with guests and fellow team membersEnsure maintenance of tools and equipment in safe working conditionMaintain records of types and frequency of maintenanceMake approved purchases of supplies, equipment and servicesMaintain inventoryConduct regular safety inspections of the propertyThompson Palm Springs has quickly become the deserts most exciting lifestyle hotel tailored to influential locals, sophisticated globetrotters, VIP gatherings and social events. The budgeted salary range for this position is $68,640 to $96,400.This is the pay range for this position that Thompson Palm Springsreasonably expectstopay.
