This role requires deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare payer landscape, including regulatory mandates, cost containment strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.The Opportunity:Develop actionable roadmaps for cost containment and digital transformation.Anticipate emerging trends (e.g., virtual care, interoperability) and advise clients proactively.Apply advanced analytics to improve health equity and member experience.Translate data into actionable recommendations for executives.Manage multi-workstream projects with diverse stakeholders.Develop actionable roadmaps for cost containment and digital transformation.Anticipate emerging trends (e.g., virtual care, interoperability) and advise clients proactively.Build trust and influence with payer executives and operational leaders.What youneed:At least 12 years in Healthcare ConsultingWorked with ELV like companies (UHG, Humana, Cigna, Aetna etc) in a consulting capacity as a consultant from McKinsey, Deloitte, PwC etc. Have a very sound understanding of the Payor business, Healthcare industry, be up to date with current industry happenings and be able to hold discussions at the C-level as a thought leader.Be able to produce engaging content and articulate the key messages and PoVs to the customerProduce winning proposals that demonstrate significant and positive impact to the customer’s business.Be a team player and have experience in working in a tiered environment.Familiarity with provider-payer dynamics and cost management strategies.In-depth knowledge of payer market trends, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, and PBMs.Experience in management consulting within healthcare, preferably with payer clients.Proven ability to frame workstreams, develop analysis frameworks, and manage client relationships.Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferredAbility to travel up to 50%Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.Role Location:RemoteCompensation Range: $ 160,000-240,000BenefitsFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent childcare, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
