Role Overview

As a Roofing Project Manager, you will generate and manage residential roofing projects through proactive canvassing and in-field homeowner engagement. You will identify roofing needs, conduct property inspections, and educate homeowners on roofing systems, insurance claims, and retail options to help them make informed decisions.

Project Managers are responsible for building their own pipeline, managing inspections, presentations, and contracts, and maintaining strong communication throughout the sales and production process. The role focuses on both insurance and retail roofing projects, with occasional opportunities related to weather or storm-related damage.

This position is best suited for individuals who enjoy working in the field, interacting directly with homeowners, and succeeding in a performance-driven, results-oriented environment. Comprehensive training is provided to support success.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate roofing opportunities through residential canvassing and homeowner engagement

• Conduct roof inspections and evaluate insurance and retail roofing needs

• Educate homeowners on roofing systems, insurance claims, and available options

• Deliver presentations, present proposals, and secure signed agreements

• Maintain consistent follow-up and communication throughout the sales and production process

• Accurately track leads, inspections, and customer interactions

• Represent Ikon Roof professionally in all field and homeowner interactions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Comfortable generating sales opportunities through residential canvassing

• Strong communication skills with the ability to learn and follow a structured sales process

• Self-motivated and disciplined in a performance-based role

• Ability and willingness to climb ladders and perform roof inspections safely

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a working vehicle

• Smartphone required for scheduling, documentation, and communication

• Prior canvassing or field sales experience is helpful but not required (training provided)

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Flexible schedule (full-time and part-time availability)

• Opportunities to travel

Compensation & Earnings

• Typical on-target earnings range from $75,000–$125,000 annually

• Top performers regularly earn $300,000+ per year

• Revenue share starting at 8% per sale

• Performance bonuses allow revenue share increases up to 10%

• No income cap — earnings are directly tied to individual performance and production
