This is a special year at Fordhook Farm as we celebrate our 150th anniversary. Burpee has open positions for our 2026 Seasonal Farm Crew at our Fordhook Farm facility in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Multiple positions are available, offering the opportunity to be part of a meaningful milestone year.

As part of this team, you will assist the farm supervisors with the maintenance and preservation of the gardens and buildings. Do you have a passion for agriculture and horticulture? Location:

Fordhook Farm, Doylestown PA. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekends as needed.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour. Up to 40 hours with the possibility of overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the planting, watering and maintenance of the display gardens, greenhouses, and perennial gardens.
• Assist with the irrigation installation in the display and perennial gardens.
• Assist with the maintenance and clean-up of the display gardens, perennial gardens and buildings.
• Provide assistance to the photography team and product managers as needed; also assist with public and private events.
• Use of hand tools, including pruners, saws, rakes, shovels, leaf blowers, and other equipment as needed.
• Participate in field trips to area public and private gardens.
• Other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Able to work 40+ hours per week during busy season, with rotating weekends for watering
• Ability and willingness to communicate with supervisors, product managers and farm guests
• Capable to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able and willing to lift 50lbs
• Valid driver's license required
• Plant and weed identification abilities preferred but not required
• The desire to work, learn, and be a part of Burpee seed innovations!
• Prior experience preferred but not required
