Job Description
We are looking for a talented Associate Attorney with 1+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile plaintiff litigation cases, particularly in corporate shareholder derivative matters, with a focus on challenging leadership teams on behalf of institutional investors. Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategies, assess risks, and prepare for litigation.
• Manage discovery processes, including document reviews, preparation of discovery requests and responses, and deposition preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal settings as required.
• Work closely with institutional investors to support their cases against corporate leadership and boards of directors.
• Maintain thorough and accurate case records, correspondence, and documentation.
• Contribute to achieving significant outcomes in cases, with the potential for substantial bonuses tied to successful results.
• Uphold the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional legal services while fostering a positive, balanced work environment.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives to ensure collaboration and continuous growth.
• Stay informed on developments in securities litigation and related fields.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Securities litigation experience required.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing within the applicable jurisdiction.
• At least one year of litigation experience, with a preference for corporate shareholder derivative litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery processes and prepare for depositions.
• Familiarity with securities litigation and derivative cases.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
